You never know for sure which social media tactics are going to deliver for you.

Even the task of defining “effective” is a challenge. Your definition of success may differ from, well, anyone’s. Social media evolves at the speed of screen flicker. There simply are no steadfast rules.

If you love social media the way I do, you try to keep your finger on the pulse of what’s working in a variety of ways. You dig into the research. You experiment. And you gather the advice of the experts who call this stuff their profession.

A combination of all of the above will indeed forward your cause. I combined the three and came up with an infographic I believe you’ll find useful.

I started with Social Media Examiner’s The report included the top five social media questions marketers want answered. Question number one: What social tactics are most effective?

So I decided to do a little experiment. I'd scour the top 10 results Google served me, write I found, and create an infographic with what I believe to be the top 30 tips.
